Sehr herzlicher Empfang - habe ein Zimmer mit Blick auf den Hafen bekommen. Das Zimmer ist klein aber sehr gemütlich & gepflegt. Die Kissen sind der Hammer, groß & kuschelig. Der Ausblick auf die Brücke und die Eiskathedrale sind ein Traum.
Die Sauna war wenig besucht, nicht zu heiß und auch von hier hat man einen tollen Blick auf den Hafen. Der Ruhe Bereich und Fitnessgeräte sind im selben Raum. Zu meinem Glück hat gerade keiner Gewichte gehoben oder hat den Hometrainer benutzt.
Das Abendessen wurde als Buffet im gemütlichen und schick eingerichteten Speisesaal angerichtet. Neben 3 verschiedenen Salaten gab es auch eine Suppe & ein Menü bestehend aus Gemüse Beilagen, Sauce, Fleisch und Kartoffeln.
Tee & Wasser stehen immer zur Verfügung.
Zum Frühstück gab es Joghurt, Müsli, Eier und Speck, unterschiedliche Brot und Brötchen. Alles was das Herz begehrt.

Dieser Ort ist weit mehr als nur ein Hotel – er fühlt sich an wie ein Zuhause fern von Zuhause. Die warme, gemütliche Atmosphäre in Kombination mit dem unglaublich freundlichen und aufmerksamen Personal vermittelt das Gefühl, als wäre man zu Besuch bei der eigenen Familie. Die Zimmer sind komfortabel und liebevoll gestaltet, und man spürt überall eine besondere Herzlichkeit.

Das Essen ist ausgezeichnet und mit viel Sorgfalt zubereitet. Besonders hervorzuheben sind die hausgemachten Kuchen und warmen Getränke, die jeden Nachmittag serviert werden – eine wundervolle Tradition, die den Aufenthalt noch persönlicher macht.

Kurz gesagt: einfach großartig! Ein Hotel voller Herz, das man nur weiterempfehlen kann.

We stayed for a night after a long haul flight and it was a great decision. The included fika (coffee and cake) was a nice break after our long journey. Dinner was simple with focus on one main dish but it was excellent. Breakfast the next day was very good and having all these great meals at the hotel rather than searching out eating places after a long flight was a good move as we felt we had more time to rest. The room size was ok and the view to the harbour was wonderful. Everything in the bathroom worked well. We would stay here again.

I stayed here in December a few years ago and liked it so much that I wanted to stay here during my summer visit as well. |The receptionists were very friendly and I really like the atmosphere here; it’s not too big, so it feels cozy and «homey» in a way. And the location is great; right by the harbor overlooking the bridge and Ishavskatedralen on the other side of the water. |It’s a 3 kilometer beautiful walk across the bridge to the Sherpa stairs/ gondola. Location wise you’re pretty much right in the middle of downtown. |I upgraded to a harbor view on the 4th floor, which is highly recommended and well worth the money! The room was spacious and clean, quiet and with a beautiful view. |The booking included supper, which was served at the adjacent hotel Aurora (the two hotels collaborates during the summer season). The food was surprisingly good with a lot of different dishes to choose from! A great thing for a solo traveler, but also convenient for couples and families. |Breakfast was included and had everything I needed. |I would stay here again when I return to Tromsø!

Most amazing welcoming staff. The rooms are lovely, the views are stunning, the toiletries were gorgeous. The food is delicious, freshly cooked with great quality ingredients. We stayed for one night but our ferry wasn’t until late at night the following night. Although after checkout we were no longer guests they continued to make us welcome. They offered us free food and drinks. I am gluten free and they made great effort with my food cooking me extra dishes and giving me gluten free cake, even when I was no longer a guest! If I come back to Tromsø again I will be staying here.

Abbiamo preso una camera con vista sul porto, impagabile risvegliarsi con la possibilità di godere di una visuale privata sul porticciolo, il ponte e la cattedrale
Letto comodo, piumone caldo, ambiente ben climatizzato
Ci hanno fornito asciugamani, kit da bagno e c'era un asciugacapelli nel bagno
In stanza c'erano due comode poltrone, una TV, il bollitore e un mini frigo
Colazione variegata continentale, fika con ciambella e thè/tisane/caffè. Sulla varietà della cena si potrebbe migliorare secondo me
Posizione eccezionale, la struttura si affaccia direttamente sul porto turistico, a due passi da storgata, pochi minuti a piedi da quasi tutti i punti di incontro per le escursioni
La prima sera abbiamo avuto la fortuna di ammirare l'aurora direttamente fuori dall'hotel
Ad ogni modo ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo

The location, service, food, cleanness, internet and almost any other aspects were perfect. I found the bed to be way too soft for my back and my room had the view of the building next door so privacy required shutting the curtains. I'd also love to get an espresso machine instead of just filter coffee. Other than that it is perfect.

The upbeat recommendations from the family who stayed in this hotel during the 2024 season, were very helpful and I came away with similar experiences. ||The rooms are very decent size with adequate amenities. Though the view from the window was not what I was looking for but the view from the dining room and portico were fabulous. The hotel was very conveniently located to most places of interest.||Special Kudos to the front desk receptionist (day shift) who went out of her way to talk to us about Tromso. She is a true Norwegian ambassador and represents Tromso and the hospitality industry well. ||Cannot say enough about the "FIKA" hour. Enjoyed the dining experience.||Would definitely consider staying at this hotel if my travel plans bring me back to Tromso
